We are delighted to announce that we are continuing our participation with our close partners, IFT, in their very exciting international leadership development programme, formerly known as Lead 360 and now renamed the Emerging Leaders' Network. This is an event and hugely valuable experience aimed at supporting and developing emerging food science professionals from around the world.
It will kick off at IFT’s Annual Meeting and Food Expo – Through a series of high profile events during the AMFE programme and through follow on work after the main event, the Emerging Leaders' Network aims to identify and invest in a group of international, talented and high potential new professionals who are passionate about the profession and excited to learn the leadership and stewardship skills needed to advance the profession in the 21st century.
The overall programme and experience provides the selected group of future leaders with leader development sessions, VIP receptions and special tours throughout the event. The most critical element, though, will be the invaluable opportunity to engage and network with top industry leaders and professionals.
Could you be our Emerging Leaders' Network representative?
We are looking to hear from our most promising future food leaders – one of you will be selected to represent IFST and participate in an amazing four day programme of activities – all travel, accommodation and entry expenses paid!!
To apply candidates need to have typically studied to a Masters or Doctorate level in a food science related programme and have between 5 and 15 years’ experience working in the food sector. You will no doubt already be actively involved in IFST's activities and will have already been recognised as having the potential to be a leader within your company or organisation.
If you think that you are eligible and would like to be considered for this programme or would like more information about the programme, please in the first instance email Jon Poole.
Applications for the 2016 competition are now being accepted with a deadline of 31 March 2016.
