Tom Blundell elected Science Council president 12 Jun 2011

Sir Tom Blundell has been elected to be the new President of the Science Council. He succeeds Sir Tom McKillop who retired at the AGM yesterday (7th June 2011) after four years in the role.

Tom Blundell will lead the Science Council as it moves forward promoting the role of science in society, supporting professional scientists at all levels, and influencing science and innovation policy. He brings to the Science Council a wealth of experience across research and academia, government and industry.
