Chartered Scientist

IFST is licensed by the Science Council to award Chartered Scientist (CSci) to appropriately qualified Members and Fellows.

The designation Chartered Scientist (CSci) is intended to ensure high and improving standards across all scientific disciplines. It reflects best practice in science and is set at a benchmark level throughout the science-based professions. Chartered Scientist is aimed at those practising science at the full professional level and at those for whom scientific knowledge or practice at that level form an essential element for the fulfilment of their role.

An application for Chartered Scientist may be considered at the same time as an application for professional membership.
