Students

If you are studying full or part-time for a degree, higher degree or HNC/Foundation degree in science or technology or related subject in the UK or elsewhere in Europe and are interested in pursuing a career in food, you can apply for Associate membership of IFST at a reduced rate and with no application fee. You will also be eligible for a discount subscription package on graduation.

Membership of IFST offers many advantages in support of your studies and, as part of a network of members, you will have access to an invaluable source or knowledge and experience. As an added extra to our standard membership package , all Associates who are in their final year as students receive a free year's subscriptionto Food Manufacture magazine. There is also a dedicated careers website which includes information on careers and courses in food science and technology.
