Students

If you are studying full or part-time for a degree, higher degree or HNC/Foundation degree in science or technology or related subject in the UK or elsewhere in Europe and are interested in pursuing a career in food, you can apply for Associate membership of IFST at a reduced rate and with no application fee. You will also be eligible for a discount subscription package on graduation.

Membership of IFST offers many advantages in support of your studies and, as part of a network of members, you will have access to an invaluable source or knowledge and experience. As an added extra to our standard membership package, all Associates who are in their final year as students receive a free year's subscription to Food Manufacture magazine.
