During 2003 the National Council of Women invited and collected consumers'
questions about food from individuals and organisations, and published them in a
booklet entitled "Deserving of Answers". Some of the questions were on
ecomomic or trade aspects and some appropriate to be answered by the Government or
Government Departments/Agencies. However, IFST undertook to provide brief
answers to questions calling for scientific answers.
