This event is aimed at anyone responsible for the compliance aspects of trading food. It will contrast the food safety regulatory and testing system in the European Union with those in other regions, underpinning World Trade Organisation rules. Expert advocates will highlight the strengths, weaknesses and specific requirements of two different regulatory approaches. Examples will be given of the pitfalls of overlooking regulatory differences when trading internationally, and how these were overcome.
It's must attend event for any technical and quality assurance staff from food manufacturers and traders with an interest in international trade or regulatory scenarios after leaving the EU. Local food SMEs and start-ups looking for accelerated growth. Other interested food industry professionals are also welcome.
