Technical Visit to Raynor Foods Sandwich Factory

IFST members have the opportunity to visit one of the leading wholesale sandwich suppliers in London, East Anglia and the South East! Raynor Foods was established 30 years ago, starting out as a small family sandwich company. Now, it makes and supplies ready made sandwiches, wraps, paninis, snacks, sushi, salads and lunch bags to sandwich shops, cafes and coffee shops, retailers, catering companies, rail companies, airlines, schools, universities, hospitals and leisure and tourism venues.

During the visit delegates will receive an overview of the processes undertaken on site plus a walking tour of some of the factory (this is subject to production activities taking place on the day). A light, late lunch will be provided as refreshments.

Who should attend? This event is open only to IFST members and in particular anyone interested in the large scale production of pre-pack sandwiches. The visit will appeal to food professionals working in industry, quality control, regulatory, consultancy and academia. Non IFST-members' registrations will be cancelled. 

Cost: Free event for IFST members.

Important Information: Raynor Foods is a working factory so registrants must declare their employer or nature of their business if a consultant (if incorrect or not mentioned in your registration details), by emailing us.  Your registration will be sent to them for vetting before a confirmation/cancellation email is sent to you. They reserve the right to refuse entry to any delegate without explanation. 

Dress code: Suitable non-slip, closed toe footwear is required as underfoot may be wet in the factory.
