IFST members only event.
The visit will include an introduction to Omega Ingredients and the flavouring industry, how flavours are made and what goes in to flavours. Quality Control including the use of GCMS and organoleptic analysis with visitor participation and short demonstrations. There will also be a tour of production facilities and product development.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Food scientists, food industry and other professionals in the Eastern region. All who are interested in flavours and ingredients and new product development.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - You will be asked to comply with the food safety policy that may include removal of jewellery. Production will be arranged around the visit to minimise this. All visitors will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire, if you have been ill or in contact with someone who is ill in the last 48 hours, you will not be allowed on site.
PARKING - If travelling by car, parking is limited, car pool if possible. Approx 10 extra cars can be comfortably accommodated for visitors but arrangements can be made to accommodate more if required. Ipswich is the closet railway station, taxi required from the station – Omega is 8 miles from Ipswich station.
