We're Hiring – Scientific Assistant (internship)

We are looking for an intern to support our work to promote food science and technology for the benefit, safety and health of everyone.

This is a 12 week (paid) internship. This role will mainly be suitable for a student/postgrad or early-career researcher.

As our Scientific Assistant (intern), you will play a crucial role in supporting our Scientific Affairs Manager. You will be part of a technical project and will be responsible for the identification, collation and creation of advisory knowledge-sharing materials for IFST stakeholders, including professionals working in the food sector, on the agreed topic e.g. Sustainability, Food Processing (preservation).

We are a small team, so we all work together to keep things running smoothly.

The post will be partly home-based while the COVID-19 restrictions are in place.  Our office is based in Hammersmith, London W6, and regular attendance at the office is envisaged as restrictions ease.
