In partnership with Food Museum, the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST) invites you to take part in the third ’Food Science Discovery Day’! This event aims to inspire the younger generation to explore opportunities for studying and working in food science. The day will include exhibits to explore, interactive activities, the opportunity to speak with local producers and food science professionals, listen to engaging talks!
What visitors will learn:
- Visitors will be able to explore exhibits and meet the professionals from food and drink manufacturers and take part in interactive activities to learn about how our food is made.
- You can directly talk to local producers about the process or product or any questions you are curious about.
- Hear from technical professionals and scientists how they apply their knowledge to overcome industry challenges such as Sustainability, Environmental impact, Food Safety, Healthy Eating, Career insights from the sector and much more.
- There will be opportunities to taste a variety of food.
