This event is hosted by the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS) in collaboration with IFST Sensory Science Group (SSG)

This event will explore how cross-modal interactions enhance or alter our experiences and our emotional response to foods, personal care, cosmetics, packaging and other products.  Drawing on specific examples from their research, the speakers will illustrate how our senses work together to create a unified perception and how these effects are used in sensory design and marketing.   

What participants will learn:

How the senses of sight, smell, taste and texture interact to influence how we perceive products and packaging.
