IFST to be Featured as Editorial Partner in ITN Production

ITN Business is set to explore the transformative impact of innovative solutions on the way we consume food in the upcoming program, 'Food & Drink: Powers Our Nation,' premiering at the International Food and Drink Event from March 25th to 27th, 2024, at ExCel London.

In the United Kingdom, the food and drink industry stands as the largest manufacturing sector, surpassing the combined size of the aerospace and automotive industries and employing nearly half a million people. However, globally, our food systems face challenges, and the key lies in food system innovation.

To underscore the influence of this innovation on our eating habits, ITN Business will produce a news-style program that delves into the food and drink manufacturing sector, showcasing innovations that make nutritious food accessible to all. Renowned chef and presenter Monica Galetti will host 'Food & Drink: Powers Our Nation,' featuring organisations contributing to food system innovation. The program will highlight those shaping our eating habits, technological solutions enhancing food manufacturing efficiency, and initiatives reducing emissions in the industry.

Scheduled for launch in March 2024, the programme will incorporate expert interviews, news items, and reporter-led sponsored editorial profiles. It will be endorsed by industry thought leaders, including the Food and Drink Federation (FDF), the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST), and The International Food and Drink Event (IFE).

Nina Harrison-Bell, Head of ITN Business, expressed the program's goal to showcase the impact of innovations within the sector, delving deep into solutions that will sustain our food systems for years to come.

Premiering at IFE Manufacturing, the program will launch in March 2024, residing on a dedicated page on the new ITN Business hub and supported by an extensive paid and organic digital campaign across social media platforms.
