We have responded to EFSA’s consultation on the Guidance on the use of the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC) approach in food safety assessment.
We acknowledge the useful work that is being done in this area and specifically to support the recommendations in Section 5, which we consider to be reasonable and forward looking, especially the call for international collaboration, to curate and review current cancer and non-cancer databases.
