This event is organised by The Royal Society
This event will bring together experts from academia, industry and government to address scientific and technical opportunities and challenges in the West Midlands.
The programme includes three industry-focused sessions:
- Royal Society Support for Innovation - showcasing Royal Society schemes that support industry–academic collaboration and research translation, including Industry Fellowships and Entrepreneurs in Residence
- Building Innovation Locally: Regional Support and Networks - featuring organisations across the region, including universities and innovation centres, and how they support research-intensive businesses
- Unlocking Funding for Innovation and Collaboration - highlighting funding opportunities available to businesses and SMEs at different stages of growth
These sessions are open to all and will be of interest to SMEs, start-ups, spinouts, and academics interested in commercialising their research, as well as those working in larger organisations
