An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Scientific Assistant Intern to join the Institute as a key member of our scientific team, supporting our work to promote food science and technology for the benefit, safety and health of everyone,
In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Head of Knowledge, Learning and Communications and Scientific Committee with our scientific output, and will be part of technical projects for the identification, collation and creation of advisory knowledge-sharing materials for IFST stakeholders, including professionals working in the food sector.
You will gain the opportunity to:

Additional Information
This is a 6-month (with possibility to extend), part-time, paid internship, to start in September 2026. The role will be suitable for a student, postgraduate or early-career researcher.
