Amy Wood - Lead Nutrition Executive
Huel

I began my nutrition journey by undertaking a Bachelor's and integrated Master's degree in Nutrition at the University of Leeds. During my time at university, I gained experience in product development during my year in industry, as well as getting a piece of my undergraduate research published in the European Journal of Nutrition.

After graduating in 2021, I took the first step in my career as a Nutritionist for Nutracheck, a calorie and nutrient tracking app designed to support weight management. I gained two years of valuable customer-facing experience, supporting members one-on-one with their health goals and analysing their food diaries, as well as creating nutrition-based content for marketing and CRM. For the last 18 months, I have worked in the Sustainable Nutrition team at Huel. My role is primarily front-of-house, supporting customers with nutrition-based questions. However, one of my favourite things about Huel is that no two days are the same, and I've had the opportunity to be involved with a number of different nutrition projects, working cross-functionally with almost every team in the wider business.
