IFST Northern Ireland - Young Scientist Competition

• Are you a student studying a food or nutrition degree at Ulster University, Queen’s University or College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise?

• Have you recently completed a work placement or research project?

Then you should enter this exciting competition to showcase your work and be in with a chance to win £1000!

Applicants are required to submit an abstract no longer than 250 words on current work or a recently completed project within the areas of food science, food technology or human nutrition. Successful shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their research and will be judged on scientific, originality, innovation, industrial applications and effective communication skills.

Prizes: 1st Prize £1000, 2nd Prize £400, Runners up £50 + 1 year membership to the IFST
