This webinar will cover the following

  • A brief discussion on the importance of sustainability and sustainable food and beverage products
  • An overview of the UK green claims code of practice and why it is important to comply in the context of regulatory requirements. Examples of recent enforcement activity in the UK, including in the Food and Beverage advertising space
  • A global approach to making Green claims taking into consideration regulations and guidance in the US, Australian and French markets. Also touching on the EU approach i.e. the use of the claim ‘Carbon Neutral’ in the EU.

What participants will learn about

  • How to make sure green claims made on food and beverage labels, or in advertising are compliant, in accordance with current best practice and legislation.
  • Green claims are claims about a product's environmental credentials, (excluding existing schemes such as the Eco label and Organic Foods)
