Our Summer Social has become the perfect opportunity for our annual networking gathering. This year, on the 13 July, we chose The George Inn in Southwark for its historical importance, architecture, great hospitability and ease of access. It was just a short walk from The Southbank University, which hosted our committee that took place shortly beforehand. The event attracted twenty members – new and not so new, many of whom travelled from various parts of the South East region.

On Thursday 9th November six IFST members from the Eastern and South East branches enjoyed an interactive tour of the 3M Customer Innovation Centre at Bracknell, where they saw in practice how 3M Science is applied to life.  During one of the product demonstrations, there was an opportunity to test out the strength of the 3M VHB Tape as shown below (thanks Belinda for volunteering!)
