About the speaker:
Professor Chris Elliott is the founder of the Institute for Global Food Security at Queen’s University Belfast, where he now holds an honorary professorship. He also serves as Professor of Food Security at Thamassat University, Thailand, and has authored over 600 peer-reviewed publications. Chris led the UK government’s post-2013 horsemeat scandal review and now advises UN agencies, governments, and industry on food security strategies worldwide. A recipient of numerous prestigious honors — including the Theophilus Redwood Prize, a Winston Churchill Fellowship, and an OBE — Chris is a widely respected thought leader shaping the future of global food safety.
