IFST was well represented at the sixth Royal Society of Chemistry's annual Science and Stormont event, which was held on 9 October 2017.
This event is sponsored by kind permission of Naomi Long MLA, Chair, Northern Ireland Assembly All-Party Group on STEM, Steve Aiken OBE MLA and Caoimhe Archibald MLA, Vice Chairs of the All-Party Group on STEM. It is held in the impressive setting of the Northern Ireland Assembly building at Stormont and is aimed to foster close relations with policymakers and key stakeholders.
The IFST stand was set up and facilitated by Anna Monaghan and Dr Marie Cantwell. Also in attendance were Professors Maureen Edmondson and Margaret Patterson, Past Presidents IFST, and Dr Michael Walker past Chair of the NI Regional Committee.
