IFST Student Representatives

Earlier this year our  Student Group recruited their first ever Student Representives in 12 universities with the aim of eventually having representation from every university throughout the UK that offers a food science and technology course to be our representative on campus. The role is great fun and the representatives are supported by the student group the whole way to make a real impact at each university.  If you are interested in becoming a representative, please contact Erin Taylor.  In addition, we are also looking for members who are focussing on Sensory Science at undergraduate and PhD level.  If you are interested, please get in touch.

IFST Young Ambassadors

Each year, students across the UK are invited to enter our Young Ambassador competition.  The winners are invited to attend an expenses paid trip to our premier event of the year - our Spring Conference and Dinner and most importantly are invited to become an IFST Ambassador,  There are a wide range of opportunities for our Young Ambassadors from writing a blog, attending events to joining the student committee.

Student LaunchPad

Each year we host a series of LaunchPad events around the country.  They're designed to help students prepare for their careers in food and get a better idea of the opportunities in industry. They're an opportunity to meet fellow students and meet with industry leaders who are on hand to give advice.
